I will admit, I have died a fair few number of times XD The game can be brutally unfair at times
It's more a reference to the lore behind the nightmare throne ^-^ You can encounter it if you find Maxwell's door and somehow manage to complete his challenges. The rose is a reference to the events in DST, and who now rules the throne o.o
Very complicated and neat stuff! Highly recommend checking out the Klei YouTube channel for more clues. Their animations for the series is awesome!
